As a former Amsterdam-citizen, I know The City very well. And in today’s post, I thought it was a good-idea to create an Amsterdam-City-Guide, if you are planning to visit The Dutch-Capital this year. With thousands of tourist visiting The City every-month, this is a guide, that can help you and prepare you for a couple days and make great memories in Amsterdam. So Let’s Dive into it.

Where to eat? Amsterdam has everything you want, when it comes to wine-and-dine. So it’s a hard to make a selection or pick several restaurants. From my experience I choose: George W.P.A , it has several locations in the city. The Staff is friendly and The service is from a good-level, Check out the website which location you prefer. You can choose to visit a location outside The City- Centre, as well as in the City-Centre. Make sure you do a reservation at least 24-hours. Since it’s a popular restaurant not only for the Amsterdam-Citizens.

What to do in Amsterdam?

Are you ready to have some fun? ๐Ÿ˜‰ What most visitors are doing is this: A Sensational swing , it’s a special experience, The most visited roof-top in Amsterdam, with 360 degrees views over The City. Make sure you make a reservation up-front, because most of the time it’s crowded.

If you are not into adventures things in Amsterdam and not a fan of highs, than you also can enjoy a canal-boat ride, which is more relaxing and specially in the evening a special-experience. It’s a perfect experience if you are a couple, or in a group.

Dutch People and especially Amsterdam is known for there bikes, if you are planning to visit Amsterdam this year 2025. Make sure you are aware of the amount of bikes that are around you. If you want to explore Amsterdam in a classic-dutch-way, the: Bike-Tour. Is a very good option! I recommend to visit The website and book your reservation on time. Because there are a lot tourist that want to use the bike instead of public-transportation to explore Amsterdam.
