Happy Sunday My dear readers, From a young-age I’ve always loved writing and reading, and reading is one of my favourite hobbies. Although I faced problems with reading comprehension, I took extra-classes when I was in sixth-grade. Years after years I developed it and later-on I’ve started to read in English, to make sure I can understand a second language.
The last few years I really been into self-development books, it’s a topic that is really close to my heart. Since I’ve always strive to be a better-version of myself. Not that I’m not a ‘’ good ‘’ person, but I always want to challenge myself, gain more wisdom-knowledge, and being the best version of myself that I can be.
What I like about reading is not only the stories that you read, but also the knowledge that you gain from each book you pickup. I’ve always love going to the library or going to a coffee-shop and take a hour for myself and read a single-chapter of my current-read.
I’ve also love going to a book-store no matter where I’m going when I’m traveling. While I’m writing this I think about my Last-trip-to-Paris where I didn’t go to a book-store. ( bucket-list-goals ).
When I’m in my own-town ( Maastricht ) I go most of the time to the amazing book-store they have. Just to see if there is any new book that attracts me. Since this book-store is located in a old-church, it’s always worth the visit.
By the way: Are you reading a book right now? And what’s the title of the book? Let me know in a comment section down below, love to hear from you.
Now let’s dive into the title’s of these books, shall we?
- Atomic Habits: This book can really change the way you think about your goals & habits, you learn how to start small and being consistent with every goal you have. If you have a certain goal in your mind for the upcoming times, I really recommend reading this book first, and it will benefit you and your goals in the long-run

If you don’t have a purpose in life, or searching for inspiration this story about the founder of Nike, is a very good story about chasing your dreams, with all the ups-and-downs that comes along with chasing a dream.
- The Courage to be disliked: This book really learned me to choose-myself, over others. This might sounds very ego-centric, but it’s so true! We always balancing between serving others and ourselves. But this book really teaches you, to go after everything you want, and taking good-care of yourself first. And not to think about others people’s opinions.
- You are badass: if you doubt yourself, or have low-confidence in yourself. And not sure of your plans, this book might be a good suggestion to dive into. Maybe this book give you that inspiration and boost, that you need start your awesome-life. But also go after your dreams and plans to you have in mind.
